The best savings app for 2023 | Blogtober

Saving money has never been easier than using all the tools and apps we currently have. The issue is, everyone wants to save but nobody knows these apps/sites exist or remember to keep using them after the first week. I have been there many times however… in this economy? Babyyyy we are SAVING.

Fetch rewards app is the one to download… like yesterday!

Fetch turns your receipts into free gift cards and cash back from your shopping trips you already do on a weekly (or daily). It’s truly simple to make it all happen as well. Scan your receipts or e-receipts from any store or restaurant, then you redeem your points to earn the gift cards of your choice. You can also make charitable donations, enter sweepstakes and more!

Modern day of couponing has become virtual and this is the app you seriously need to try out. Warning you will fall in love. I have used this app for over 3 years and cashed out during the holiday seasons to get gifts for my loved ones using the reward gift cards.

This last year I needed to create a new account due to no longer having access to the email used on the original account but I’ve already redeemed a $25 gift card to amazon. I finally convinced my mother to join the savings challenge and she is obsessed.

“I made it a competition with others even if they aren’t competing with me because it’s just more fun that way. Seeing all the points add up and trying to beat the others on my friends list is keeping me going. It’s like my own personal game.” — The words right from my mom’s mouth.

You can sign up for fetch rewards using my link HERE. Once you sign up and snap your first receipt you will receive 2,000 points!!! Which means you’ll just need 3,000 more to get a $5 gift card from various retailers.

Frequently Asked Questions

I have been sharing this app across multiple social media platforms, who couldn’t use more savings?! I decided to add the frequently asked questions to this post in case anyone else comes across these questions too.

Do i really just snap a pic of the receipt?

Yup! All you do is open up the app, take a picture of the receipt(s) or scan your receipts from 1 email account at a click of a button and let the points rack up.

As long as the app can read the brand/retailer, total price of the purchase and the date– you’re good to go!

How do I scan my e-receipts?

They have a button on the app with a camera on it. Once you click that button it asks if you’d like to scan a e-receipt or snap a picture of the physical one.

You will have to go into your settings on the app and connect your amazon account as well as your email that you use for shopping online purposes and you will be good to go using the e-receipt option.

They will automatically scan your receipts within 30 days from that day you select e-receipt.

How old can receipts be?

Typically the receipt can’t be any older than 14 days however there have been times where loved ones on the app have received points for a receipt that was 30+ days old. It never hurts to scan any receipt you come across. they also scan our e-receipts for the last 30 days which has me believe they’ll accept some but not others; just scan any you have!!!

How many points can I get from one receipt?

It actually varies. When you get on the app you’ll first see the homepage; discover.

The discover display’s different products and brands that have a promo where you either save more cash back (percentage wise) or you can get a certain amount of points.

Example in the screenshots you will see on the right side: Munk Pack Keto Nut 7 Seed Bar 4 pack from specifically bought at Walmart will get me 1,750 points but the Bahlsen Biscuits bought anywhere (since its not indicated a specific store) would give me 1,000 points.

This is why it’s highly encouraged to scan all your receipts, even the ones from the gas station. They may give you 25 points (which is the minimum i’ve received) or more depending on their promo’s for that day/week.

Tip: before going food shopping, make it a habit to look at the discover page and see the potential products and points you can earn! hidden spooky blogtober message: savings is the way to go this halloween season (;

How many receipts can I scan a day?

Recently a co-worker of mine (who was referred on the app by my mom) was told to ‘relax’ and take a break after snapping 30+ receipts in 2/3 days. After carefully looking some information up, we found out you can technically scan 15 receipts per day and no more than 35 receipts in a 7 day period.

How can i earn more points?

Other than using the discover to seek out specific products and retailers to buy from/with, you can refer your family and friends for more points. If you are to use my link from this post (which I hope you do) plus my code (Q99KQH) if prompted to on sign up; you will receive 2,000 points and so will I.

Occasionally the app will give out 4,000 points for every referral as well which is honestly the best. In order to get these points the person you refer MUST snap their first receipt within a certain amount of days and be a first time user.

I am always using this app therefore sharing it across all my social media platforms has become a regular occasion. I have more strangers than i do social media friends using this app with my code #thankful.

There you have it you guys, another blog post for blogtober and it’s one that we can all benefit from. Saving money is always fun regardless of what level or stage you are in life; at least to me anyway. If you have any questions about this app you can email me at: contact@briannaanjelique.com OR leave the comment below and I’ll be happy to answer.

I am going to go shopping now and enjoy my $25 Amazon gift card when I finally get it i’ll enter a photo here. It takes about 48-72 hours to receive your rewards, keep this in mind when you’re redeeming your points.

Update: I got my reward, plus having 5k points already towards the next reward. Happy shopping and saving.
