October BLOGtober

Happy October 1st! I am such a fan of BLOGtober and am excited to be celebrating it this year as a serious blogger for the first time ever. October overall is one of my favorite months, not only because of Halloween but also due to it being when autumn fully kicks in gear. I live for everything autumn. The pumpkin-scented candles (green apples too), the cinnamon rolls, brownie mix leftovers in the baking bowls, the oversized hoodies and can’t forget my go-to autumn movies to set the mood.

I am also a witch, if you didn’t know… now you do but don’t you worry your pretty little heads — I don’t practice the dark, hexing, or any type of black magic as most think witchy people do. I do however occasionally like to ride on my witchy broom, just kidding Ha-ha… or am I? Nope, just jokes because honestly even if I could fly on a broom; I wouldn’t… I’m scared of heights.

 

Anyways… We are here to talk about the challenge I’ve got up ahead. A blog post every day for the entire month of October— yikes. I may be in over my head…This is a big challenge, one that not many beginner bloggers can achieve and I am daring myself to make it happen in which I will succeed. 

Today this post is the first to go, 

An introduction to start the flow. 

You now know one more fun fact about me,

Here goes another it’s not scary I guarantee. 

I was born on a Thursday evening, 

Which my parents named me after a robust Faerie Queen without even knowing its true meaning. 

It’s ironic how all my imaginary friends had wings and butterflies always found me, 

I guess it’s true I am Queen Bri. 

All my life I knew I was different, 

The older I get the more I find myself to bee magnificent. 

I am not darkness only light, 

My biggest source of power is when I write. 

I am strong,

I am bold, 

and I am brave. 

Paving the way 

on whichever path and however many days. 

This is my lifestyle, my belief, my praise

And believe me, it’s not ‘just a phase’. 

Take me as I am or watch me as I go,

It’s cliche but it’s the truth as far as I know. 

Goodbye September,

Welcome October. 

Where leaves change colors, 

And the sky gets duller. 

But try to remember I will light your night 

With my powerful words I write.

This year has been a whirlwind and I’m honestly excited for what’s in store. I’m glad you’re finally through this post without a snore. Thank you for your utmost love and support, come back tomorrow for some more.

 

 

My oh my, you have found a hidden message!! this is not the only one either; There’s a hidden message in every blog post for blogtober. The more you find the closer you are to the treasure. Sometimes a message could be just a single letter. Not just a phrase, word, or letter but even inside a picture and as simple as a feather. It may seem silly to you and that is okay but I promise at the end of the month, whoever comes forth with the hidden messages words or letters put them together…
