What is affiliate marketing?
Affiliate marketing is the process of earning money (through commission) every time you promote a company’s product(s) or services and drive a sale. You only get paid every time you drive a sale, just like a commission-only sales representative.
Affiliate marketing with Brianna Anjelique
briannaanjelique.com is a personal blog written and edited by Brianna Anjelique P.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has guidelines regarding endorsements and testimonials to protect you from misleading advertising that’s been paid for by a company. Because Brianna Anjelique does occasionally include endorsements and testimonials, it’s important to disclose the following:
- I share and promote products/services/businesses that I believe could be beneficial to you.
- Affiliate links are used in some posts where I make a small percentage of each sale. This is one way I make money from blogging. It does not result in additional charges or cost you anything extra.
- Mentions of related products/services/businesses within the content of my blog may or may not be noted as an affiliate in every reference.
- I consider any referral program or link as part of my affiliate links within the content of my website.
- I will enclose blog posts whether it is a referral or affiliate link.
- I may or may not have purchased the products/services/business that is mentioned or advertised anywhere on my blog site. It will be enclosed in each post whether or not it has been vetted personally by me or researched thoroughly via the experiences of others.
- Anything that I mention as bullet above states that has not been personally vetted by my own experiences may, later on, be vetted by me. I will then create a new blog post and update the original with a link to view my personal experience towards that product/service/business. *May not be the case for all mentioned.
- Products provided to me for review may be given free of charge. However, this doesn’t guarantee a positive review – I always review honestly and openly.
Will there be an extra charge when shopping through affiliate links?
– No. You will only be charged what the product costs.
You will ONLY be charged the amount of the products, the brand/company will pay me their agreed commission rate through their program that I am affiliated with.
Are referral links the same as affiliate links?
– No, they are different.
“The key difference is that affiliate marketing focuses on third-party brand advocates to send customers to your business for a flat fee. Where referral marketing is focused on rewarding current customers to invite their friends to try your product/service.” – Saasquatch
It will be enclosed on the blog post as referral links do not just beneficial for me. There may be a promo from that product, company, or service which provides $10 off for you and a $20 credit for me (this is just an example).
